About the Position: 

As a Product Development Engineer / Analyst, you will act as a liaison between our clients using our flagship Enterprise Architecture Management System (SAMU) and our software development team. Your goal will be to understand the client’s architecture, identify their explicit and latent needs, and offer solutions using our SAMU product and its related services and through software development opportunities. This will ensure maximum efficiency in the client’s architecture management processes, contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities: 

Product Analyst Tasks: 

  • Act as a bridge between clients and our internal software developers. 
  • Support clients as a consultant, offering solutions using our product and related services. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Continuous discussions with stakeholders to collect feedback, manage expectations, and ensure transparency between technical teams and business units. 
  • Verify and test developments from the client’s perspective. 
  • Support decision-making regarding completed features, handle discrepancies. 
  • Stay updated on market trends, best practices, and IT methodologies. 
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features and processes. Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders as needed. 

Product Development Engineering Tasks: 

  • Specify business requirements and assess and optimize processes. 
  • Execute minor development and system configuration tasks related to client needs (reporting, system integration, data migration/transformation). 
  • Support marketing and communication activities related to new product features (pre-sales, demos, system functionality demonstrations). 
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and understand existing data structures and datasets, translate them into future data models, and perform data uploads. 
  • Perform tasks related to system operation and deployment. 

Miscellaneous Tasks: 

  • Independently develop and present product development proposals to management. 
  • Participate in release planning in collaboration with the software development team. 

 Requirements: 

  • Higher education in IT or Economics 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the IT field (software development/operations/governance) 
  • Experience in a corporate environment 
  • Direct client management experience 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English at a professional level 
  • Knowledge of Agile and traditional project methodologies 
  • Understanding of architecture management methodologies 
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Basic technological knowledge (Advantage: JavaScript, XML/XSLT, Java, Angular, SQL, MS SQL Server, Git, Windows, Linux, Docker, Azure Cloud, AWS, TOGAF, Archimate, ETOM, BIAN) 
  • Mobility – primarily in Budapest, with occasional national or international travel 
  • Excellent communication skills, especially active listening and questioning to assess and understand client needs 
  • Patient, empathetic, polite demeanor, trust-inspiring personality 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Proactivity 
  • Systematic thinking 
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and assess situations effectively

  • B category driving license and active driving skills 
  • Relevant certifications, completed courses, or hobby projects 
  • Additional language knowledge (e.g., German, Spanish, French, Bulgarian)
